The phenomenon called "Narendra Modi"

Love him or hate him ...he is there for all to see..Mr. Charismatic Modi created waves some time ago when he proudly announced MOUs worth 12,24,482 crores crores at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit held in Ahmedabad.Accept it or not , Gujarat (or for that matter Modi)has come a long way since the 2002 massacre in Godhra and the riots that were to follow.I do not say this because of my roots but statistics shout it out...In Modi's own words "modern roads, private railroads with double-decker containers, 50,000 kilometers of fiber-optic networks, 2,200 kilometers of gas pipelines, 1,400 kilometers of drinking-water pipelines to 7,000 villages, 24-hour uninterrupted power in rural areas, the first Indian state with private ports, a totally integrated coastal-development plan, two LNG [liquefied natural gas] terminals and two new ones coming on line.”
Economist Ajay Shah's latest post "Two wise men try to comprehend Narendra Modi" is a very interesting read for fanatics and critics alike ..
